Heather Irene Pyles and Dustin Ryan Tomlinson

FOLLY BEACH, SC – Heather Irene Pyles and Dustin Ryan Tomlinson were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of June 25, 2010 at Folly Beach in South Carolina in front of a small group of close family and friends.

Heather is the daughter of Constance Pyles of Science Hill and the late Ronald “Bo” Pyles. She is the granddaughter of Marlene Ridener Pyles of Somerset and the late Wilburn Pyles, and Wayne and Beverly Tilley of Mechanic Falls, Maine.

Dustin is the son of Doris and Dennis Tomlinson, of Somerset. He is the grandson of the late Reverend James S. Tomlinson and Virginia Ella Ping Tomlinson, and the late Flonnie Baker Mounce and Charles G. Mounce.

The bride wore a strapless a-line ivory wedding dress with champagne trimmings and a chapel-length train and matching flat sandals. She carried a hand-tied wedding bouquet made of white and blue hydrangeas. The bride’s matron of honor carried a small hand-tied bouquet of pink roses.

The bride and groom’s wedding party was made up of the matron of honor, Ashley Wells, close friend of the bride, of Somerset, and best man Travis Hall, close friend of the groom, of Somerset. The bride’s brother, Seth Pyles, escorted her down the beach to the location of the ceremony and gave her away.

The ceremony was officiated by Mary Ann Henry, of Folly Beach, South Carolina.

The couple wishes to say thank you to everyone who attended the ceremony and shared in their special day on the beach.

Heather is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky and is employed as a reporter at the Commonwealth Journal in Somerset. Dustin is also a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky and is employed with the Kroger Corporation as an assistant customer service manager.

The couple boarded a cruise from Charleston, South Carolina and spent a week traveling to Key West, Florida and the Bahamas for their honeymoon. They are residing in Somerset, Ky.
