Lindsay Marston, Charles Williams wed

CANTON — Lindsay Jo Marston of Minot and Charles Erland Williams of Minot were wed on September 10, 2011 at a friend’s home in Canton. Lori Smallwood, notary and a family friend, officiated.

Lindsay is the daughter of Allen and Mari-jo Marston of Hartford, and Charles is the son of Charles and Rosalie Williams of Buckfield.

The bride wore an A-line, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, corset closure and flowing train. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers and zinnias.

The matron of honor was Mary Hastings of Chesterville. Bridesmaids were Maryse Charest of Sanford, Heather Noonan of Hartford and Terri Cook of Mechanic Falls. The attendants wore brown chiffon cocktail length gowns with halter top and carried three sunflowers per bouquet.

The best man was Ryan Cook of Mechanic Falls. Ushers were Russ Williams of South Portland, Ryan Harvey of Hartford and Brent Dan of Sumner.

A reception was held at the bride’s parents home in Hartford. The wedding trip was to Bar Harbor. The couple plan to reside in Minot.

The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maine in Farmington. She is employed as a middle school math teacher in Buckfield. The groom graduated with a bachelor of finance degree from Thomas College. He is employed as a Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Norway Savings Bank.
