SOUTH WOODSTOCK - Good morning dear readers. It’s a cool, damp, rainy day, but God has blessed us with some great fall weather so we really should not complain.

The Down East Country Music Association held their annual Pioneer & Legends Memorial Awards show on November 7. It was a great day and a large crowd to support the award winners. Bill Giasson received the Pioneer of the Year Award for 2010; Country Jim Palmer received the Lenny Breau Award for 2010; Arthur (Benny ) Benedetto received the Life Time Achievement Award for 2010; Jay Phillips of WOXO radio received the Bill Clements Memorial Award and Donna Palmer received the Lucianne Giasson Memorial Award. Congratulations to all the winners.

I am off to Auburn today to practice some songs with George DeWitt. We were asked to take part in the show for this Sunday.

Celebrating December birthdays are Rickie Emery, Bill Grover, Kathy Blaquiere, Doug Marchant, Shane Wilson, Debbie Jack, Angie Buffington, Janette Coolidge, Dennis Dillingham, Bill Giasson and Tina Scribner. We are wishing each of you a great day on your special day.

I took the time to design my own Thanksgiving cards yesterday, now to get them folded and addressed and get them in the mail. I love creating and designing my own holiday cards. It gives me the opportunity to write my own verses.

I have heard that many are down with the flu so our get well wishes to each of you and hope you are up and around real soon.

Well folks, it's time for me to get this off to the office and get on with my other errands and projects. Have a great weekend.
