Ice plumb on Cross Street in Bethel

SOUTH WOODSTOCK — Condolences are going out to the Maurice Hart family. Love and prayers to each family member.

What a great day this was. It was 36 degrees here today and felt so like spring.

Yogi and I enjoyed a nice lunch today with our niece Dori and her friend Darlena. We met at Maurice's where we all enjoyed some of their daily luncheon specials. It was a great sunny and warm day.

We then went to the Dollar Store and Family Dollar to pick up a few much needed items, and love those specials.

I am sitting here just enjoying the smell of the chocolate cake I got in baking - will frost it tomorrow morning.

We want to wish Earl and Pat Hart a Happy, Happy 50th Anniversary and wishing you many more.

Happy 90th Birthday to Esther Nava - wishing you a great day.

Celebrating anniversaries are Elwood and Barbara Yeaton, Yogi and Lolalee Dillingham and Merle and Debbie Jack.

While in Bethel tonight I got to get some night photos of the Mt. Abram ski slopes lit up and also a couple of the tall ice plumb there in town. What an awesome sight that was. Also stopped to take one of the very pretty Christmas tree in Bryant Pond that was still lit up.

Lolalee & The Country Bandits will be playing at the Veteran's Home on February 9 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

So glad the days are getting longer and so looking forward to an early spring.

Birthday wishes are going out to Carol Cox and Cheryl Carter (my mom would have celebrated her 92nd birthday on January 30).
