LOVELL — Belated news but some nice news just came in. Catherine Williams, the daughter of Bob and Ann Williams, was married in Falmouth, MA, on September 12, to Devin Enos. The couple is very happy and resides in Falmouth.

Russell and Rob, our friend, put in a door that was given to us on the side shed on November 13. It looks very nice. What a great improvement over the old one. Russell and Ken went to North Conway shopping after finishing the carpenter work on November 13.

Jaimie, Julie and Kayla Pratt were in Rhode Island with their father recently and came home on November 13, to attend school.

A big surprise. A 75th birthday party for Cliff Lowe was given after church on November 13, by his wife Liz and their three sons and families. A nice luncheon was served along with a big chocolate birthday cake. His real birthday was November 21.

I was saddened to hear from my dearest friend, Ginnie Weeks from Fryeburg, who called to let me know her beloved uncle Dennis Emery had passed away on November 13. Dennis ran a store here in Lovell and then moved to Fryeburg and ran Emery’s Market for many years.

He was well known and loved and will be deeply missed by all for he was a very kind, caring, loving, jolly person. Our sincere sympathy to his niece Ginnie, son Brian and family, Betty and Steve Burke who cared for him in their home, David, his daughters and their families and everyone else.

On November 15, we rode to Bridgton for my doctor’s appointment. Went to Fryeburg for a haircut, errands and then back to work.

On November 16, Russ went to Fryeburg for a haircut, errands and then back to work.

Janice Thomson surprised me with a visit on November 17.

On November 18, our son Mark would have been 41 years old. We lost Mark at age 25, just one day before Christmas of 1995. On his birthday as well as other special times, I miss him so much. Debbie Chandler Jones has a birthday that day also and I can remember how excited she was when Mark was born on her birthday. Happy birthday, Debbie, and happy birthday, son.

Heather Lang cleaned 15 rooms recently at Green Granite where she is employed and does that many every day.

The birds have been a plenty at our feeders recently. There are a lot of different ones.
