Stoneham

STONEHAM – Is it fall or is it winter? 60s on day and 20s the next. I guess it’s fall in Maine. Beautiful weather for hunting season for the most part except for a little bit of wind.

A few Stoneham girls are participating in the Waterford Twirlers this year. They are Haleyjo and Elizabeth Littlefield, Katherine Carpenter and Addyson Guptil. Emilia Desanctis is enjoying dance again this year. I look forward in seeing their shows at some point. I’m sure they are all working hard and having lots of fun.

Haleyjo Littlefield started pre k this year at Waterford School. She enjoys going to school like the big kids.

Daylight savings time started last weekend. This usually makes for a short night :) and takes about a week to get used to it. It was hard to get up and going in the dark, but from now on it will seem hard to get home in the dark for most of us making for a long evening of “it’s only 6 o’clock it seems like it should be 7 or 8 p.m.

This fall we had a few Stoneham kids who celebrated birthdays. They were Dawson and Camden in September (children of Josh and Kara Jones), Brody and Montana in October (children of Kevin and Valerie Barker), and Rory (daughter of John and Heidi Guptil), in November. Later this month Chandler, son of Becky and Jesse Adams, and Samantha, daughter of Jessica Nye will have birthday celebrations.

Three homes in town are still a work in progress. I wonder how they will turn out. They are doing extensive remodeling to a few Stoneham homes. Josh Jones, Jesse Adams and Travis Fox are pretty busy with their home projects. They all looking good so far and I’m sure they will be happy when they are completed.

Congrats to Dylan Rugg, he got his deer last week. Way to go.

James Littlefield participated in a Special Olympics bowling day at the bowling alley in South Paris. The families had lots of fun.
