Stoneham town news

STONEHAM - Fall is in the air. If you were in N. Conway last week you would have seen winter in the distance. Mount Washington was covered with the white stuff…shhhhhhhh. There were many people out and about enjoying the great weather and fabulous sights and colors of fall and winter together on the mountains. I’m not ready for it but we know it’s coming. There are so many Fall chores still to do. With last week’s summer day weather of about 70 degrees it is hard to believe winter is right around the corner.

Halloween was a great day. The weather was seasonably cool but a beautiful day. There were pumpkins all around town and some other great decorations. I had a total of seven kids stop by. I’m sure school teachers will love that they will probably have sugar snacks all week. Ahhhhhhh!

Resident hunting season started this weekend. Good luck to all the hunters. Stephen Barker was home to go out with his dad. They had a day of hunting with friends.
