BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The afternoon service held on April 29 was very good. One hundred fifty-three people attended and young people from three years old up to the teens took part and all did an excellent job singing, playing the piano and flute and also preaching.

Remember today, May 10, is the Whitman Memorial Library program at 2 p.m The guest speaker will be Norman Lewis, game warden. The public is invited to attend. There is no charge and light refreshments will be served.

Judith Grover Tent 17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, will hold a meeting on Monday May 14, at the Grange Hall.

The Grange Mock Hee Haw Show will be held on Saturday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at the Grange Hall. Money made will help with repairs to the hall. Refreshments will also be on sale. Come for a fun evening.

The Historical Society will meet on Saturday, May 12, at the museum. There will be a 6:30 p.m. potluck supper followed by the meeting and program. New members are always welcome.

The Woodstock Extension will meet on Wednesday, May 16, for a greenhouse tour.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens met at the Locke Mills Church for a meeting. A delicious dinner was served by the Ladies Circle. The program was Norma Davis showing the mittens she makes from wool sweaters. Next month the group will go out to dinner.
