BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Dr. Ron Caudill was the speaker at the Revival services on April 22 to 25. He was a very good speaker and the services were well attended.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet on Thursday, May 3 (today), at the Locke Mills Church with the ladies of the church putting on the dinner. The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. and new members are always welcome.

The Whitman Memorial Library will hold its May program on Thursday, May 10, at 2 p.m The guest speaker will be Norman Lewis, game warden. The public is invited to attend. There is no charge and light refreshments will be served.

Franklin Grange 124 will meet on Monday, May 7, for a regular meeting at 7 p.m. The Mock Hee Haw Show will be held at the hall on Saturday, May 19. Come and expect a great show as usual and support the Grange. At the meeting on May 21, there will be inspection and instruction.

On Saturday, May 12, there will be a meeting of the Historical Society at the museum starting with a 6:30 p.m. potluck supper.
