Norway Town Hall news

NORWAY - The Norway Town Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 25 and 26, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is Saturday, November 27. The parade theme is "A Storybook Christmas" and it steps off at Market Square in South Paris and ends at Advertiser Square in Norway. Following the parade, Santa will greet children at the Norway Fire Station. At 5 p.m., the town will light the Christmas trees at Bob Butters Memorial Park.

Programs from the Norway Recreation Department starting up after December vacation: Basketball for grades Kindergarten, one and two; bowling; ice skating and snowshoeing. They are looking for a coach for the first grade basketball program, contact Deb Partridge if interested. More info to follow in the coming weeks. Dog tags are due by December 31. Dogs that are spayed/neutered are $6, others are $11 and kennels are $42. There is a limit of 10 dogs per kennel. Please bring your rabies certificate with you.
