Pistol course planned in Scarborough

SCARBOROUGH — An NRA Basic Pistol Course will be held on Saturday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cabela's in Scarborough. Cost is $125 per student (includes lunch, books, the use of firearms and ammunition). The shooting portion will take place Sunday afternoon, March 13 at the heated indoor range located at Lake Thompson Fish & Game in Oxford or by appointment at your convenience. Instructors are Joshua White and Alan Coffin.

This course meets the State of Maine concealed weapon permit requirements as well as the requirements for obtaining a State of Florida concealed weapon permit.

Please note: No weapons or live ammunition will be allowed in the classroom.
