Hebron boys shut out Holderness

HEBRON - Hebron Academy boys' varsity hockey team hosted the Holderness School recently with a final score of Hebron 4, Holderness 0.

Goals for Hebron, all in the third period, were scored by Shane Hearn, assisted by Joe Collins, at 15:57; Chris Taylor, unassisted, at 15:51; Collins, assisted by Peter Quigley, at 5:01 and Collins, assisted by Quigley, at 1:54. They were all power-play goals.

Hebron goalie Mike Messuri had 20 saves; Matt Kinney had 34 saves for Holderness.

After two scoreless periods, the Lumberjacks had a strong third period, scoring four unanswered power-play goals. Joey Collins had two goals and an assist; Chris Taylor and Shane Hearn added a goal apiece, and Peter Quigley earned two assists. Mike Messuri had a solid game in goal, recording 20 saves on the day.

Hebron's record is Hebron 3 - 0; Holderness has a record of 0 - 1.
