Hebron Academy girls win semifinal

HEBRON - Hebron Academy girls' varsity soccer team hosted Gould Academy recently in a MAISAD semifinal game with a final score of Hebron 6, Gould 2.

In the first half, Hebron goals were scored by Kaitlyn Paiton at 20:00 and Sarah Markey at 35:00.

In the second half, Sarah Doyan scored for Gould, assisted by Izzy Kannegeiser, at 4:30; Janelle Bradish scored for Hebron, assisted by Paiton, at 8:00; Doyan scored for Gould, assisted by Kannegeiser, at 14:30; Emily Wyman scored for Hebron at 25:00; Chelsea Boucher scored for Hebron at 28:00 and Boucher scored again for Hebron, assisted by Wyman, at 32:00.

Hebron had 24 shots; Gould had 13. Hebron had seven corner kicks; Gould had three.

Hebron’s Olivia Brown had 10 saves; for Gould, four different players had a total of 14 saves.

With this win, Hebron advanced to the MAISAD championship game at #1 seed Kents Hill on Saturday, November 13.
