Hebron Academy varsity boys win semifinal

HEBRON - Hebron Academy boys' varsity soccer hosted the Hyde School recently in a MAISAD semifinal game with a final score of Hebron 2, Hyde 0.

In the first period, Joe Collins scored for Hebron, assisted by Peter Quigley, in the eighth minute. Collins scored again, assisted by Tavis Gibbons and Tommy Cummings, in the 19th minute.

Hebron had 18 shots on goal; Hyde had three.

Hebron goalie Lonnie Taylor had three saves; Hyde's Alec Russelly had 16 saves.

With this win, Hebron advanced to the MAISAD championship game at #1 seed Kents Hill on Saturday, November 13.
