Hebron boys shut out Hyde

HEBRON - Hebron Academy boys' varsity soccer team hosted Hyde School recently with a final score of Hebron 6, Hyde 0.

Scoring summary:

Tom Cummings (own goal off cross from Cummings) in the 15th minute; Joe Collins (own goal off cross from Collins) in the 20th minute; Jock Cooperrider (free kick at the corner of the 18) in the 34th minute; Tavis Gibbons, assisted by Francis Bluteau, in the 40th minute; Mike Bouchard, assisted by Jake Stewart, in the 59th minute and Lonnie Taylor (PK) in the 68th minute.

Hebron had 33 shots, 18 on net; Hyde had eight shots, three on net. Hyde goalie Alec Ranell had 12 saves; Hebron’s Lonnie Taylor had three. Hebron’s record is now 9 – 5.
