Game tied

TILTON, NH - Hebron Academy varsity field hockey team played Tilton School recently with a final score of Hebron 2, Tilton 2 (OT).

In the first period, Maggie Lane scored for Hebron, assisted by Amber Aaskov, at 28:10.

Second period goals were scored by Emily Tessier for Tilton, assisted by Brianna Attalla, at 22:26; Kian Murphy for Tilton, assisted by Ashley Chronopoulos, at 13:13 and Haley Grimmer for Hebron at 2:09.

Hebron had five penalty corners and Tilton had 12. Hebron had six shots and Tilton had 13.

Hebron goalie Mariah Mosher had 11 saves; Bryanna Bourbeau had four saves for Tilton.

Hebron found the net just two minutes into the game thanks to a Maggie Lane goal (assisted by Amber Aaskov) and they held a 1-0 lead through the first period. Tilton answered eight minutes into the second period to tie the game and then added a second goal nine minutes later to take the lead. However, Hebron responded to tie the game when Haley Grimmer scored with only two minutes left on the clock. Regulation play ended in a tie and the score remained deadlocked through the 10-minute sudden victory overtime period.

Jackie Aaskov played well today, and Natalie Maciejewski and Ally Strachan were solid in the midfield. Though Tilton outshot Hebron, goalie Mariah Mosher made some key saves to keep Hebron in the game.
