Hebron wins over Kents

HEBRON - Hebron Academy boys' thirds soccer hosted Kents Hill School recently with a final score of Hebron 5, Kents Hill 1.

First period goals, all for Hebron, were scored by Kendrew Poon, assisted by Ibrahim Moustapher, in the third minute; Jie Chen in the 16th minute; Zikai Chen in the 20th minute and Ibrahim Moustapher in the 27th minute.

In the second period, Alvaro Cordoba scored for Kents Hill in the 39th minute on a penalty kick and Jie Chen scored for Hebron in the 48th minute.

Hebron had 10 shots; Kents Hill had five. Hebron had one corner; Kents Hill had six.

Hebron goalie Brad Geismar had four saves; Zach Taylor had five saves for Kents Hill.

Thirds soccer came out strong scoring four goals in the first period and adding one second period goal to earn the 5-1 win over the visiting Kents Hill Huskies. Kendrew Poon (assisted by Ibrahim Moustapher) scored just three minutes into the game to give the Lumberjacks the early lead. Jie Chen scored as well, netting two goals while Ibrahim and Zikai Chen added one each to round out the scoring for Hebron. Yaou Yu earned an assist and Brad Geismar had four stops in goal.
