Hebron boys score victory over Bridgton

HEBRON — Hebron Academy boys' varsity hockey team hosted Bridgton Academy recently with a final score of Hebron 5, Bridgton 1.

Scoring for Hebron in the first period were Josh Brodeur, unassisted, at 2:12 and Todd Bannerman, unassisted, at 17:01.

In the second period, Mike Settipani scored for Hebron, assisted by Brodeur, at 2:20 (power play goal).

Third period goals were scored by Steve Laliberte for Bridgton, assisted by Ryan Kulik, at 9:35; Andrew Crawford for Hebron, assisted by Mike Settipani, at 3:02 and Lou Caraglia for Hebron, assisted by Adam Devine, at 0:15.

Hebron goalie Mike Messuri had 24 saves on 25 shots; Bridgton's Brad Cray had 30 saves on 35 shots.

Josh Brodeur and Mike Settipani each recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Lumberjack offensive attack. Todd Bannerman, Andrew Crawford and Lou Caraglia scored as well, and Adam Devine added an assist of his own. Mike Messuri had a solid game in net to secure the win.
