Hebron girls defeat St. Dom's

HEBRON — Hebron Academy girls' varsity hockey team hosted St. Dom's recently with a final score of Hebron 7, St. Dom’s 2.

In the first period, goals were scored by Emily Wyman for Hebron, assisted by Maggie Lane, at 12:38; Amber Aaskov for Hebron at 11:53; Wyman for Hebron, assisted by Natalie Maciejewski and Sara Grover, at 8:29 (power-play goal) and Sophia Goulet for St. Dom's, assisted by Lauren Ratsep and Kayla McLellan, at 2:52.

Second period goals, both for Hebron, were scored by Lane, assisted by Talya Bent 10:04 (short-handed) and Grover, assisted by Sarah Markey, at 7:00.

In the third period, goals were scored by Lane for Hebron, assisted by Natalie Maciejewski and Bent, at 13:48 (power-play goal); Kayla McLellan for St. Dom's, assisted by Marissa Zamrock, at 11:12 and Taylor Teixeira for Hebron, assisted by Emily Wyman, at 6:22.

St. Dom's goalie Nicole Keaney had 23 saves on 30 shots; Hebron's Colleen Mitchell had 13 saves on 15 shots.
