Boys defeat Lewiston, but lose to EL
REGION - The win against Lewiston on May 30, was a great boost for the Vikings baseball team. On May 2, they dropped a close one, 4 to 3, against Edward Little.

Champions abound in Oxford County
SOUTH PARIS - For the seventh year in a row, athletes from all parts of Oxford County will flock to the Gouin Sports Complex at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris for the Oxford County Special Olympics Training Day. Thursday, May 15 will see over 130 athletes, 80 coaches and more than 30 volunteers at the Special Olympics-sanctioned event. The training day allows athletes to prep for the upcoming 40th Annual State Summer Games traditionally held at the University of Maine, Orono from June 6-8.
