Towns

  • Mechanic Falls

MECHANIC FALLS — I stole sand. I didn't mean to. Sorry, Mechanic Falls, but the reality is this: I don't pay attention anymore. I used to be able to fit so much more into my brain when I was younger. Now it's clogged with "I need to clean the van sometime this year. Is it fashionable to wear pantyhose these days, because Hoda and Kathie Lee never do. Why is there a salad in the bathroom?"

  • North Norway

NORTH NORWAY — It's kind of chilly here in the computer room but I hate to start an electric heater as our bills are high as it is. Should have ordered some long johns long since but am looking at some now. This too will pass.

Out in Arizona Jane Perham is enjoying life and has moved into her new digs. More room for her and the katz. And a nice location. The weather channel showed southern Arizona in all its glory yesterday. People in shirtsleeves walking, fishing and soaking up the warm sunshine.

  • Lovell news

LOVELL — Hello, friends. I hope you had a fairly good week as did I. Of course, the snowstorm on Wednesday canceled all the schools. It was pretty to look out the window at it and helped the men who plow and shovel for their income in the winter season.
