  • Mechanic Falls

MECHANIC FALLS — I've got an incessant beeping in my ears. In addition, I have these constant urges to back up unexpectedly. I think the road work near my house is getting to me. I realize that Elm Street needed a serious drainage overhaul, but don't we all? After all, the dreaded c-procedure only takes an hour and some really good drugs and you're good to go. (Important note: I am not advocating illicit drug use when I say "really good drugs." I would be lying if I said they were just okay drugs, because they were not.

MECHANIC FALLS — It's been three weeks since I've contributed to this column and I blame Spring. As a member of the human race living in the 21st century I heard somewhere that this is my absolute right to lay fault on something, anything, other than myself for whatever I refuse to take ownership of, because after all, nothing is truly wrong, only unacceptable.
