Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge news
Jun 23, 2011 12:00 amOXFORD — Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the rec. building on King St. in Oxford. A seven-table Mitchell movement was enjoyed.
Finishing first in flight A n/s were Kathy Burden (Augusta) and Maryann Trafton (Waterville), who also were first in flight B. Finishing second in flight A were Mike Quinn (Otisfield) and Nick Karamessinis (New Gloucester); third were Dave Kallander (Harrison) and Les Buzzell (Auburn).

Scouts offer babysitter training

The program will include getting your baby-sitting business started, playtime ideas for children of all ages, understanding the likes and dislikes of children, troubleshooting and solutions to the most common problems a baby-sitter faces and Babysitting 101 certification.

Ham with potato salad, veggies and dessert are on the menu, with dinner being served at 12 noon.
