BRIDGTON — Take the dog’s lead and get out and enjoy Maine’s best season! Winter is a great time to take a hike. Bundle up, grab a friend or two, and join Loon Echo Land Trust for a moderate snowshoe hike to the summit of Bald Pate Mountain. Participants will see animal tracks and great views that aren’t available at other times of the year. There will be a hike on both days, January 26 and 27, beginning at 10 a.m. The hikes take approximately two hours.

They do like the MSA and put the names in a drawing; you must be present to win. They are starting out with $5 (which was donated by Dan Dubois from his 50/50 winnings), and add $5 each month. At their annual cookout in June (the last meeting of the year) they will draw until they get a winner.
