  • Hebron girls win over Buckfield

    HEBRON — Hebron Academy girls' varsity basketball team hosted Buckfield High School recently with a final score of Hebron 25, Buckfield 23.

  • Hebron boys win over Citadel

    HEBRON — Hebron Academy boys' JV Hockey team hosted Citadel High School recently with a final score of Hebron 2, Citadel 1.

    First period goals, both for Hebron, were scored by Matt Bouchard, unassisted, at 0:20 and Brandon Korytko, assisted by Bouchard and Robbie Berube, at 8:30.

    In the second period, Andrew McNeil scored for Citadel, assisted by Riley Cameron, at 1:40.

  • Hebron girls' hockey wins over Gunnery

    WASHINGTON, CT — Hebron Academy girls' varsity hockey team played at the Gunnery School recently with a final score of Hebron 3, Gunnery 2.

    In the first period, Chelsea Boucher scored for Hebron, assisted by Amber Aaskov and Ally Strachan, at 1:38.

    In the second period, Sara Grover scored for Hebron, unassisted, at 8:42.

    Third period goals were scored by Laura Reckdewald for Gunnery, assisted by Emily Seguin, at 9:17; Seguin for Gunnery, assisted by Reckdenwald, at 4:15 and Sara Grover for Hebron, assisted by Jackie Aaskov, at 4:08.

  • Hebron girls' basketball win 29 - 10

    HEBRON — Hebron Academy girls' varsity basketball team hosted Pine Tree Academy recently with a final score of Hebron 29, PTA 10.

  • Hebron girls' shut out Pingree 5-0

    SOUTH HAMILTON, MA - Hebron Academy girls' varsity ice hockey team played the Pingree School recently with a final score of Hebron 5, Pingree 0.

    In the first period, Jackie Aaskov scored for Hebron, unassisted, at 6:22.

    Second period goals for Hebron were scored by Talya Bent, assisted by Natalie Maciejewski, at 12:16; Sara Grover, assisted by Bent and Maciejewski, at 8:02 and Chelsea Boucher, assisted by Sarah Markey, at 0:26.

    In the third period, Bent scored for Hebron, assisted by Ally Strachan, at 6:19.

  • Hebron girls beat Tilton 3-1

    TILTON, NH - Hebron Academy girls' varsity hockey team played the Tilton School recently with a final score of Hebron 3, Tilton 1.

    First period goals, both for Hebron, were scored by Sarah Markey, assisted by Talya Bent, at 11:15 and Ally Strachan, assisted by Markey and Catherine Byrne, at 9:29 (power-play goal).

    In the second period, Sara Grover scored for Hebron, assisted by Markey and Jenna Bosse, at 9:28.

    In the third period, Katie Burke scored for Tilton, assisted by Victoria Sohn and Tianna Cass, at 0:40 (power play goal).

  • Hebron boys shut out Holderness

    HEBRON - Hebron Academy boys' varsity hockey team hosted the Holderness School recently with a final score of Hebron 4, Holderness 0.

    Goals for Hebron, all in the third period, were scored by Shane Hearn, assisted by Joe Collins, at 15:57; Chris Taylor, unassisted, at 15:51; Collins, assisted by Peter Quigley, at 5:01 and Collins, assisted by Quigley, at 1:54. They were all power-play goals.

    Hebron goalie Mike Messuri had 20 saves; Matt Kinney had 34 saves for Holderness.

  • Fish & Game plans meeting and gift collection

    NORWAY - The Norway-Paris Fish & Game Association will meet Wednesday, December 15 at 6:30 p.m. for a potluck supper with business meeting to follow at the Norway Municipal Building on Danforth Street. The agenda this month is very full, so voting members are encouraged to attend. Please bring an unwrapped children's gift for the annual gift drive. As always, money donations are also welcome.     HEBRON - Hebron Academy girls' varsity hockey team hosted Governor's Academy recently with a final score of Hebron 3, Governor's 6.

    First period goals, both for Governor's Academy, were scored by Mary Leahy, assisted by Ann McDonough, at 3:22 and Jane Carpenter, unassisted, at 12:58 (short-handed).

    In the second period, Leahy scored for Governor's Academy, assisted by Lynn Sullivan, at 5:42 (short-handed).
