Magician at Eastman
Feb 14, 2013 12:00 amFRYEBURG — The Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center continues their family entertainment series with two performances of the amazing Magician Illusionist George Saterial on Saturday, February 23, at 2 and 7 p.m.
This show was originally scheduled for Saturday, February 9, but was cancelled due to the snowstorm. All tickets purchased for the February 9 performance can be turned in for new tickets to the February 23 performance.
Met's Parsifal at Eastman
Feb 14, 2013 12:00 amFRYEBURG — The Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center continues its Metropolitan Opera Live in HD 2012-13 Season with Parsifal on Saturday, March 2, from 12-5:40 p.m.
Tickets are $26 for adults, $23 for seniors (65+) and $18 for students and are available for purchase online at www.fryeburgacademy.org/pac or by calling the Box Office at 935-9232. The theater is located at 18 Bradley Street on the campus of Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg. Parking is free.
DECMA to hold Valentine's Show
Feb 14, 2013 12:00 amMECHANIC FALLS — The Down East Country Music Association, Inc. will be holding its Annual Valentines Show on Sunday, February 17 at the Silver Spur, Route 121 in Mechanic Falls. Doors will open at 11 a.m.; the show runs from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Admission for the afternoon is $6 for non-members, $5 for members and $2 for children under 12.
Entertainment for the afternoon will be performed by the musicians and performing award winners that are Tennessee bound In March for national competitions in Pigeon Forge.
Roomful of Blues swings into PAC

Tickets are $22.50 for adults, $20 for seniors(65+) and $10 for students and may be purchased online at www.fryeburgacademy.org or by contacting the box office at 935-9232.
The theater is located at 18 Bradley Street on the campus of Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg. Parking is free.
Auditions at Schoolhouse
Feb 14, 2013 12:00 amSTANDISH — The Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake will be holding auditions for "MOMologues 2: Off to School" on Tuesday, February 19, and Wednesday, February 20, at 6:30 p.m. at 98 Hi Vu Drive in Standish.
Casting is for four adult women. Those auditioning will be asked to do cold readings from the script. Materials will be available at the audition.
Concert to feature Poddubnaya

Ganderia concert fundraiser slated
Feb 14, 2013 12:00 amNORWAY — Ganderia Middle School is hosting its Second Annual Fundraising Concert at the Norway Grange Saturday, February 23 at 7 p.m.
The show will again feature the talented guitar player and singer/songwriter Denny Breau. Joining Denny again this year will be RF Berks and the RF Modulators. A new addition this year will be a performance by the Super Moon Trio featuring Ganderia parent Kristen Short with Dawson Hill and Rusty Wiltjer.
Family music event at school
Feb 14, 2013 12:00 amSUMNER — The Nezinscot Valley Music Boosters is sponsoring another great family music event at the Hartford-Sumner Elementary School. Peruvian musicians Inkas Wasi will be presenting a free evening of music on Friday, March 8 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the gymnasium at the school.
This event will serve as the culmination of this year's integrated theme across the school, "South American Sojourn."
Valentine reception and raffle at Gallery 302

A raffle of HR Best Design Jewelry will be drawn at the reception (tickets are currently on sale at the gallery - no need to be present to win). The winner of the raffle will be able to make his valentine (or herself) very happy with a one-of-a-kind gift of beautiful jewelry.
