    PARIS — Timothy A. Churchill, president and chief executive officer of Western Maine Health, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Tom Lawton as the new Administrator at Market Square Health Care Center.

    Originally from Michigan, Tom grew up in Detroit and holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Public Health Administration, both from the University of Michigan. Tom brings over 35 years of healthcare administration experience to his new position and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including long term care facilities.

    We had a terrific turnout for this month’s Business Roundtable at the Harper Conference Room in the Ripley Medical Building. Hosted by SCORE, The Chamber of Commerce and AVCOG, the topic was “The Resort Casino and Your Business-Preparing for the Future” The intention of this Roundtable was to provide a forum for business owners to discuss ways to take advantage of the Four Season Resort Casino being built here in Oxford Hills. The time to start planning for the future is now.
