    SOUTH PARIS — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Curves continues to work to raise awareness in women about the life-saving importance of risk management, early detection and treatment. Throughout the month, Curves of South Paris women's fitness center is waiving the joining fee for new members who show proof of a mammogram within the past year or make a $25 donation to breast cancer research.

    BETHEL — Fantastic improvements have been made to the Business Expo event that the Bethel Area Chamber has organized for four consecutive years. Saturday, October 29 is the new date – and it has been expanded to include businesses not only in the Bethel area, but all of Oxford County.
