  • Fryeburg Academy offers scholarship

    FRYEBURG — Fryeburg Academy is pleased to announce a new scholarship opportunity for Maine residents. The scholarship, named for Bion R. Cram, class of 1933, covers tuition, room and board in full for a student from Maine. In addition to the one full scholarship awarded to the Bion R. Cram Scholar, a number of partial scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants.

    Mr. Cram, who passed away in 2008, bequeathed 15 million dollars to the Academy to establish endowments for financial aid scholarships and academic resources.

    AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College is offering the Small Business Institute, a series of workshops designed to help small business owners improve performance and profitability.

  • Thomas College to visit OHCHS

    SOUTH PARIS — A representative from Thomas College in Waterville will visit Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris on Tuesday, October 11 at 11:45 a.m. The representative will meet with students to discuss Thomas' academic and sports programs, and its residential life opportunities.
