    LEWISTON — Norrine Stevens (Waterhouse) Wilkins, died peacefully on July 12, 2011 at Montello Manor. Born in West Poland on August 18, 1915, she was the daughter of Archer F. and Florence Stevens Waterhouse. She began her education in Poland schools and graduated from Gould Academy in Bethel in 1937. She married Ernest C. Wilkins in May of 1941 and they resided in Auburn and later Lewiston.

    PORTLAND —  George Arthur Reynolds, 84, of Minot passed away on Thursday, July 14 at Maine Medical Center. He was born in Norway on July 21, 1926 the son of Arthur I. Reynolds and Sadie McAllister Reynolds.

    He graduated from Mechanic Falls High School and faithfully served our country in the U. S. Army during World War II and Korea. He married Julia Collins on June 14, 1956. He had been a Foreman at Wilner Wood Products for 23 years, retiring in 1984.

    RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for John P. DiConzo, of South Paris, was celebrated on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius - St. John Church in Rumford with Fr. Phil Tracy as  celebrant. Altar Assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger.

    Music selections included: "Be Not Afraid," "Because the Lord is My Shepherd," "Ave Maria" and "On Eagle's Wings."

    SOUTH PARIS — June Hamilton, 80, passed away on the morning of July 16, 2011 at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris with her three daughters by her side.

    MILTON TOWNSHIP — Peter R. Hooper, 63, of Milton Township died Friday, July 15, 2011 after courageously facing his struggle with renal cell carcinoma.

    He was born in Portland on March 24, 1948, a son of the late Marguerite (Bachelder) and Stuart DeRoche and Robert Hooper. He graduated from Gorham High school in 1966 where he excelled in sports, especially basketball. He was a true woodsman, a steward of the land who loved to look back at his logging jobs with pride and sound ecological practice. His witty sense of humor and love for his family will live on forever.

    NORWAY — Robert A. Crane Sr., 92, of Norway died peacefully at the Norway Rehabilitation Center, on Friday, July 15, 2011. He was born April 21, 1919 in Brighton, MA to the late Kennedy and Mittie (Lawrence) Crane Sr. Robert moved to Rockland as a small child and attended Rockland schools.
