  • Tyyne E. Fowler

    SOUTH PARIS — Tyyne E. (Waisanen) Fowler, 85, of South Paris died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris. She was born in Greenwood on February 17, 1926, the daughter of Matti Herman Waisanen and Aino Fredricka (Mustonen) Waisanen. She graduated from high school in Greenwood. She married Roy E. Fowler; they enjoyed 25 years of marriage before he passed away in December of 2003.

  • Annabelle Allen Cooper

    BANNING, CA — Annabelle Allen Cooper passed away October 19, 2011 at the Pass Memorial Hospital in Banning, CA. The last several years she had been residing at the Golden View Care facility. She was 92 years old.

  • Hazel Sanborn services

    PORTLAND — Hazel Stoehr Sanborn passed away on June 2, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Hazel’s life at the Foreside Community Church, 340 Foreside Road, Falmouth , on Saturday November 19, 2011 at 11 a.m.

  • Theodore Howard Ireland

    POLAND — Theodore Howard Ireland passed away peacefully on October 27, 2011 at his home. He was born in Guilford, the family soon moving to Portland. He graduated from Portland High School.  He also served in the US Navy in the early 1960s. Before retiring he had worked for Bradlees and TD Bank, both in Lewiston. He was one of 12 children born to the late Hadley Ireland and Flora Nickerson Ireland and was the beloved husband of the late Jeannette Winslow Ireland for more than 24 years.

  • Morrell Baxter Gray, Jr.

    MINOT — Morrell “Pete” Baxter Gray, Jr., 68, of Minot passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway after a long illness. He was born in Boothbay on November 4, 1942, the son of Morrell “Pete” Baxter Gray, Sr. and (Herminie) Maude Howell Gray. He graduated from Boothbay Regional High School, the University of Maine and the Maine School of Commerce in Auburn.

  • Dora I. Perry

    SOUTH PARIS — Dora I. Perry, 93, of South Paris died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Market Square Health Care Center. She was born in Mechanic Falls on October 6, 1918, the daughter of Clifford and Lydia S. Hall Richards. She graduated from Mechanic Falls High School and worked for Wilner Wood Products for many years. She married Arthur H. Perry on July 15, 1938.

  • Raymond A. Chapman

    GILEAD — Raymond A. Chapman, 83, of Gilead passed away at his home October 30, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born in Bethel on February 11, 1928, the son of Frank and Gladys Chapman. He worked in many mills - Grafton Lumber, Blakes, Davis and Faverau. He married Thelma Crockett in 1950 and had three daughters and five sons. He was a scrap metal dealer for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be sadly missed by his dog, Abby and his many friends.

  • John S. Russell

    NORWAY — John S. Russell, 47, of Norway passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Calais to Isaac and Mary (Cawley) Russell on August 3, 1964. He was owner and operator of Russell & Sons Towing.

    Mr. Russell is survived by his wife of 11 years, Shari Russell; children, Jonathan Russell and wife Sarah, Joshua Russell and Jordan Russell; stepson, Jason Dodge; his parents, Isaac and Mary Russell and granddaughter, Anya Russell. He is predeceased by his brother, Charles Russell.
