  • Craig A. Floyd

    PARIS — Craig A. Floyd, 46, of South Paris passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Middletown, CT on September 7, 1966, son of Donald and Claudette (Robichaud) Floyd.

    Mr. Floyd is survived by his brother, Don Floyd and wife Sharon of Colchester, CT. He is predeceased by his father, Donald Floyd in 2009 and his mother, Claudette Floyd in 2012.

  • Tove Lizette Westleigh

    OXFORD — Tove Lizette Westleigh, 42, of Oxford died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

    "There are angels who guide us, those protect us and those special few who walk among us and touch our lives." On April 9, 2013 one such angel, Tove Lizette Westleigh, found her way home.

    In her place of honor in heaven she will watch over those she loved and left behind - her children, Nickolaus, Morgan, Xander and Bjarne (B.J.); her family and friends. From their hearts to heaven her memory will live on. Those who were touched by her are forever blessed.

    MECHANIC FALLS — The Reverend Roger W. Dunning, 87, of Mechanic Falls went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He had been a resident at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston for nearly a year.

    NORWAY — Edwin F. French, 85, of Fairfield, TX died Saturday, April 13, at the VA Hospital Togus in Augusta, ME.

    Born in Columbia on February 13, 1928, he was the son of Isobelle Bunker and William French. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Retired.

    Sgt. French is cherished by his wife, beloved by his children and loved and respected by family members and friends. He had the ability to bring joy and laughter to those that knew him. His passing is a tremendous loss to many and he will be greatly missed, but always remembered with a smile.

    PARIS — There's a little less sunshine in the world as beloved Luba Jillson Barker entered eternal rest with her Heavenly Father on March 26, 2013; she'll be greeted by many family members and countless friends.

  • Velma M. Laughton

    WEST PARIS — Velma M. Laughton, 84, died peacefully on March 23, 2013 in West Paris, with family by her side. She and Richard Fleming had been happily residing together for the past 23 and a half years. She was born in Freeport, to Harry and Juanita MacAllister. She grew up in Freeport and in Portland.

    For 35 years she was married to Kenneth Laughton; they raised six children in Freeport, then moved to the Western Maine area. Kenneth passed away in 2007.

  • Robert Thibodeau

    PARIS — Robert Thibodeau, 62, of South Paris died Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Fort Fairfield on October 6, 1950, the son of Frederick and Helen Tinsmen Thibodeau. He served in the U. S. Marines.

    He had been employed at Century Tire and later for the City of Portland as a bus driver.

    He was a member of the Maine Country Music Association. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing and crossword puzzles. He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially for Tony Stewart and Clint Bowyer.
