    MEXICO — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice is again offering the popular six-week exercise program called Moving Freely. Although designed for senior citizens, men and women of all ages are welcome to attend these classes. No matter what your age, if you have often thought of joining an exercise class but felt intimidated by the intensity of other programs, Moving Freely may be the answer for you.

  • Camp Sunshine benfits from event

    CASCO — Camp Sunshine, a one-of-a-kind national retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, recently announced that the Auburn-based Pine Tree Trail Riders presented an $800 check to support Maine families following a two-day charity ride this past fall. To date, the club has raised nearly $4,000 for Camp Sunshine.

    LOVELL — Lovell area residents, come join your neighbors and friends for a spaghetti dinner, compliments of Lovell Neighborhood Watch. Show your appreciation for law enforcement members. This will take place on Saturday, March 26 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lovell VFW.

    LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center is offering a free five-week workshop for children and teens bursting with talent or craving the spotlight. “Kids Who Care: Cancer Variety Show” will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning April 19, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at CMMC, 12 High Street. Conference rooms will vary between H and I.

    TOLL ROAD - Haley Dennison and Nicole Davis man the Oxford Hills high school Early Childhood Education (ECE) Voluntary Toll Saturday, to raise money for a class trip to Boston. While in Boston the 12 students will visit three different pre-school centers as well as the Museum of Science, Aquarium and Children's Museum. The ECE group is very grateful to the community for the $1,200 that was raised.
