  • OUI

    The following driver was apprehended by local law enforcement and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Substance (OUI): 

    Kyle Hugh McCafferty, 25, of Buckfield was arrested at 2 a.m. on July 22 on Allen Road in Buckfield and charged with OUI. Maine State Trooper Jason Wing made the arrest. McCafferty has one prior OUI conviction from 2007.

  • District Court - May 2012

    PARIS — The following is the Closed Case Report from Maine District Court in Oxford County from May 1, to May 31.

    James W. Storey, DOB 12/20/75, of Harrison, was charged with Failing to Register Vehicle and Attaching False Plates on 3/20/12 in Norway by Norway Police. He was found guilty on the first charge and fined $150. The second charge was dropped.

  • Maine District Court, Oxford County

    SOUTH PARIS — The following is the Closed Case Report from Maine District Court in Oxford County from June 1, to June 30.

    Mario Angeloni, DOB 11/17/84, of Waterford, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Offensive Words, Gestures on 6/17/12 in Waterford by Oxford Sheriff. He was found guilty and sentenced for 48 hours.

    Andrew P. Anketell, DOB 9/8/85, of Minot, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Noxious and Offensive Odors on 1/24/12 in Buckfield by Oxford Sheriff. The charge was dropped.

    14:50 – Mark M. Wakem, born 9-30-75, of 116 Bragdon Hill Rd., Poland, was arrested on Reservoir Rd. by Maine State Trooper Dan Hanson and charged with Failure to Stop for an Officer and Speeding 30+/Limit.

    10:17 – Jacob A. Berry, born 9-28-92, of 152 Main St. Apt. 5, Norway, was arrested in Rumford by the Rumford Police Dept. and charged with Assault Domestic.

    17:42 – Kimberly Flaherty, born 8-17-56, of 26 Main St., Errol, NH, was arrested on Route 118 by Maine State Trooper Adam Fillebrown and charged with OUI and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
