HEBRON — Hebron Academy Head of School John King recently welcomed new members to the Academy's Board of Trustees. Joining the board are Catherine Crowley, Clement Dwyer and Matthew Johnson, all alumni of the school, and current parent Richard Bennett. They join a group of fellow alumni and parents who are responsible for the governance of the school and oversee programs, personnel and financial operations.

Kate Crowley, a member of the Hebron class of 1987 and an Allegheny College graduate, lives in Boston, MA with her husband Robert and their three children. While at Hebron, she was a member of the swim team and played water polo and lacrosse, and volunteered with the Green Key admissions program. After college, Crowley worked in the marketing departments at Sheraton Headquarters and Fidelity. She obtained her elementary teaching degree and taught at Columbia Grammar and Prep School in New York City.

A member of the Hebron class of 1993, Matt Johnson graduated from Mercyhurst College, and received his MBA from Duquesne University. As a four-year student at Hebron, Johnson was a class officer and senior proctor, played football, hockey and lacrosse, and was involved with the Green Key admissions program and the Judiciary Committee. In 2007, he served on the Hebron Advisory Council. He is President and CFO of Russell Standard, a family-owned business that provides new construction, maintenance and manufacture of asphalt-related projects. Johnson and his wife Anne live in Pittsburgh, PA with their four children.

Following his graduation from Hebron in 1966, Clem Dwyer attended Tufts University. Since 1997, Dwyer has been Managing Member of URSA Advisors, L.L.C., which provides advisory and capital-raising services to insurance and reinsurance companies. He returns to the Hebron board for his third term. Dwyer and his wife Martha reside in Portsmouth, NH.

Richard Bennett, a former president of the Maine State Senate, served four terms in the Maine Senate and two terms in the state's House of Representatives. He graduated with honors from Harvard University and received his MBA from the University of Southern Maine. He is CEO of The Corporate Library, an independent source for U.S. and Canadian corporate governance and executive and director compensation information and analysis. Bennett resides in Oxford with his wife Karen, and his son and daughter who both attend the academy.
