Washcloth snowmen crafted at Paris Public Library

SOUTH PARIS — Participants in the Paris Public Library's After School Program created stand-up washcloth snowmen recently. After listening to "Learning to Ski with Mr. Magee" by Maine author Chris Van Dusen, the snowmen were made with white terry washcloths, polyester filling, felt, pipe cleaners, and parts of old stockings. No sewing was required.

Paris Public Library's After School Program is held every Monday at 4 p.m. January 's sessions will revolve around snow stories with follow-up snow activities and Grimms' Fairy tales with follow-up activities in honor of Jacob Grimm's January birthday. All are welcome. Alternate crafts and activities are available for those choosing not to participate in the directed craft or activity.
