Fryeburg Academy is new site for CMCC courses

FRYEBURG — Central Maine Community College will begin offering courses at Fryeburg Academy in the spring semester. The courses to be offered are College Writing, Intermediate Algebra and Introduction to Psychology. Classes will begin the week of January 18th and will be held in the Bion R. Cram Library on the Fryeburg Academy campus from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Courses are also offered at Telstar Regional High School, Region 9 School of Applied Technology and the Western Maine Center in South Paris.

“This will provide a great opportunity for community members to take courses locally and for eligible Fryeburg Academy students to participate in the On Course for College program. The convenience and affordability of these courses is a huge benefit to this community,” notes Michelle Hawley, CMCC Student Services Representative for Oxford County.
