After school special at library
All kids in grades first through sixth are invited to join the After School Special program at the Norway Memorial Library. The fall dates are November 8th and December 6th. The After School Special program runs from 3:15 – 4:30 p.m.. To register for this program please call the library at 743-5308. Halloween Fest activities
Norway Memorial Library invites kids of all ages to dress in costume and join the ghosts and goblins on Main Street in Norway on Friday, October 29th from 2 to 5 p.m. for the Norway Halloween Fest. The Nevaeh dance group will perform spooky dance stories on the library lawn at 3:30 p.m. The library will offer healthy snacks, scary stories at 3:00 and 4:00PM, and Halloween crafts. In the Children’s Room, children can choose a Halloween craft to make and take home. Other festival activities on Main Street include trick-or-treating at businesses, raffles, games, and photos with costumed characters.
This year’s Norway Halloween Festival is sponsored by Norway Downtown, Norway Recreation Department, Norway businesses, Healthy Oxford Hills, and the Norway Memorial Library, with the help and participation of many other individuals and organizations.
