Saving for college info night set

PARIS — Concerned about the rising costs of college? Did you know that you may be eligible for $200 or more in matching funds when you invest in an educational savings plan with a $50 initial contribution?

Come to an information night and lab with Jessica Whittier of FAME, to learn about the types of accounts available and benefits for Maine families. After the information session, all families will have the opportunity to work with Jessica to open an account on-site.

It's never too early or too late; parents of infants to high-school seniors are all welcome and encouraged to attend!

This event will take place Thursday, May 17, at 6 p.m. in the OHCHS Forum. Those interested in opening an account should bring SSI numbers for owner (i.e: parent, grandparent) and recipients (student or self), addresses for all parties named on the account, and a $50 initial contribution to account.

This can be made via check, debit card or credit card.
