STANDISH — Kelly LeBlond of Greenwood was inducted to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. The society honors undergraduate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.

LeBlond is a registered nurse who is pursuing her bachelor's degree in nursing through the Graduate & Professional Studies division at Saint Joseph's, which offers on-line education for working professionals.

Elmira 

ELMIRA, NY — Amy Chipman of Poland has been named to the Elmira College Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the Fall 2011 Term. The Dean's List recognizes students who have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher. Chipman, a senior, is majoring in Mathematics and Childhood Education.

Wheaton 

NORTON, MA — Ian Stauder of Paris has been honored with placement on the Dean's List at Wheaton College in Norton, MA for the fall 2011 semester. Stauder, a member of the Class of 2013, is pursuing a major in Economics.

To earn Dean's List honors, a student must complete at least three graded courses and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
