CMCC offers supervising class

AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services department at Central Maine Community College will offer Supervising People: The Essential Skills for Leaders. This five-part series will be held on Fridays, May 18 to June 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $315 and includes all materials.

This program will help managers, supervisors and team leaders identify communication barriers, performance issues and will provide tools to address difficult employees. Participants will learn how to tackle the difficult issues and improve team productivity. Topics include communication, coaching for improved performance, teambuilding, and collaborative team problem-solving.

This non-credit course is open to anyone interested in learning effective supervision techniques. Registration for this course is open and ongoing, however space is limited.
