UMM announces Dean's List

MACHIAS — Stuart Swain, provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine at Machias, has announced that 242 students have been named to the Dean’s List at UMM for the fall 2010 semester.

All matriculated and special students who have earned a semester average of 3.25 or better on a 4.00 scale are eligible for the Dean’s List if they have completed a minimum of six credit hours graded on an A-F basis (excluding developmental courses), have earned no grade lower than a C, and have received no missing or incomplete grades. The Dean’s List is based on students’ grades 35 days after the last day of finals.

Local students named to the Dean's List include Heidi Marie Rodzen and Adeena Joy Vogel, Norway; Christina Elizabeth Walker, Oxford; Carrie Jean Hill, Christine H. Merrill and Shannon Louise Moxcey, South Paris and Robyn Leanna Hamilton, West Paris.
