LANCASTER, PA — Marion Batley Colley, 96, of Lancaster, PA, entered into rest peacefully after a short illness, in the loving care of Masonic Homes of Elizabethtown, PA on December 22, 2010. Born in Lancaster, NH on July 24, 1914, she was the beloved daughter of the late Allen R. Batley and Ella Clough Batley. A former resident of Portland, she retired as a dental assistant and moved to St. Augustine FL in 1975, where she spent many hours volunteering at Flagler Hospital. She was a member of Saint James Episcopal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included knitting, reading, traveling and playing bridge. She will be missed.

Mrs. Colley is survived by her daughter, Joan Colley Eschbach Myers, wife of Ralph L. Myers, of Quarryville, PA; her son, Edward M. Colley, husband of Dawna O. Colley, of Ipswich, MA; her stepdaughter, Beverly L. Roraty, wife of James Roraty, of St. Augustine, FL; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Maynard E. Colley and Carl H. Lund and a son, Alan F. Colley, husband of Valerie Brown Colley Weston.
