NORWAY — Helen C. Morse, 91, of Norway died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. She was born in Norway on September 23, 1919, the daughter of James C. and Ethel Stanley Cleveland. She has resided in Norway most of her life. She worked in the Norway Shoe Shop for many years. She attended Norway schools and was a member of the Norway Methodist Church. She married Harlan W. Morse on August 30, 1940; he died on December 4, 1985.

Mrs. Morse is survived by a daughter, Joan M. Greene and her husband Jeffrey of Norway and Conway, NH; two sisters, Betty Crockett and Esther Estes, both of Norway; two brothers, Ralph W. Cleveland of North Norway and John W. Cleveland of South Paris and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harlan; two sisters, Ruth Moody of South Harpswell in 2007 and Jolene Cleveland in 1934 and a brother, James F. Cleveland of Norway in 2000.

Family and friends attended a visitation on Tuesday, December 28. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Norway Pine Grove Cemetery in South Paris; time and date will be announced in the spring.
