WEST PARIS — Delores B. Stanley, 81, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris. She was born in Norway on January 30, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Phoebe (Cobb) Bailey. She was married to her beloved husband, George H. Stanley, for 60 years. She had worked as a secretary for the Maine Central Railroad for many years. She was a graduate of Norway High School and Westbrook Jr. College.

Mrs. Stanley is survived by three brothers, Peter Bedard and wife Joanie of Manchester, ME, Curt Bailey and wife Joanne of Otisfield and Jeff Bailey and wife Lorraine of West Paris; sister-in-law, Ruth Nichols of Freeport; cousins, Laura Ashton of Pinnelas, Fl, Gardner Cobb and wife Kathy of Alaska, Gary Cobb and wife Lisa of Ohio, Glenn Cobb and wife Jan of Ohio, Greg Cobb of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, George on May 10; a special uncle, Arthur B. Cobb; an aunt, Lucy Wiley and an uncle, Gardner Cobb.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 30 at 11 a.m. at Oxford Hills & Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Rte. 26, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association of Maine, 122 State St. Augusta, ME 04330.
