Roland V. Hiscock

NORWAY — Roland V. Hiscock, 89, of Norway passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was born in Farmington on February 10, 1921 to Dean and Charlotte (Hodgkins) Hiscock.

He was a great outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile and was a Maine Guide. He was also a painter of landscapes. He was a member of the Crooked River Masonic Lodge AF&AM of Bolsters Mills, where he had just recently received his 60-year pin.

Mr. Hiscock is survived by his sister, Claire Josephson of Deluthe, GA. He was predeceased by two brothers.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday evening, December 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a Masonic service at 7 p.m. by the Mt. Tirem Lodge #132 AF & AM followed by a memorial service at 8 p.m. at Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main Street, Rte. 26, Oxford.
