Mark A. Daniels

SOUTH PARIS — Mark A. Daniels of South Paris died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. He was born August 25, 1924 in Paris, the son of the late Alfred and Ethel (Twitchell) Daniels. His wife of 59 years, Lillian (Pechnik), died in 2006. He served in the Army during WWII with the 75th Division and was in the Battle of the Bulge. Until his retirement, he was employed as a carpenter both locally and for the union.

Mr. Daniels is survived by a son, Mark C. and wife Nadeen of Auburn; twin daughters, Linda Pappajohn and husband Philip of Newark, DE and Brenda Wiley and husband George of Mason, NH; three grandchildren, Jason Wiley, Craig Wiley and Alyssa Daniels and a great-grandson. He is also survived by a twin sister, Mary Boynton; a sister, Phyllis Lasselle; brother, William Daniels and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be scheduled for the early summer.
