Phillip A. Noyes, Jr.
LEWISTON – Philip A. Noyes, Jr., 77, of Hebron died Monday, August 16 at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born in Weld on October 3, 1932 the son of Philip, Sr. and Minnie S. Snowman Noyes. He attended schools in Weld. He was the Road Commissioner for the Town of Weld. From 1959 to 1984 he was a Ranger with the Forestry Department for the State of Maine. His job was his hobby. He married Neila Nichols on November 10, 1956. He was a member of the Mystic Tie Lodge #154 AF & AM in Weld, a founding member of Poland Rescue and a member of the Poland Fire Department. He loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of Hebron; a daughter, Tammy Field and her husband Steve of Hebron; a grandson, Joshua of Hebron; a granddaughter, Ashley of Hebron; and a great granddaughter Logan. He was predeceased by an infant son; and a sister, Louise. A private family service will be held Saturday at 11a.m. at Robertson Cemetery in Weld. Donations can be made in his memory to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Weston-Chandler Funeral Home 45 Main St., South Paris.
