NORWAY — Lillian Elmore, 68, of Norway, died on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris. She was born on April 16, 1942 in Quincy, MA to Joseph and Gertrude Barth Crum. She married Richard Elmore on May 7, 1965. She moved to Norway eight years ago from Chelsea, MA. where she had worked for 18 years at the Chelsea Veterans Home, working with disabled veterans. She loved to play bingo. She was a life member of the VFW, and a member of the American Legion post 82.

Mrs. Elmore is survived by her husband, Richard; one son, Richard M. Elmore Jr.; three daughters, Angela Bechard and her husband John, Kathleen Elmore and Linda Follis and her husband Doug; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother. She was predeceased by one sister.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 21 at Chandler Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, South Paris. Spring interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Norway.
