WEST PARIS — Joseph Ralph Beauchesne, 62, of West Paris died peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2010 after a short courageous battle with cancer. He was a man of all trades, whether it was truck driving, plumbing, mechanics or carpentry; he could do it all. He was diagnosed with cancer on June 14th of this year and moved back to Maine to spend his remaining days with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Beauchesne is survived by his five children, Michelle McGray and her fiancé Samuel Averill of Hartford, Joseph D. Beauchesne and his partner Michelle Piorier of Norway, Jacqui Smith and her husband Troy of Swanton, VT, Vignette Beauchesne of Chattanooga, TN and Chester Beauchesne and his wife Jessie of Auburn; eight grandchildren, Crystal, Danny, Julli, Karley, Conner, Hickory, Silas and Presley; two sisters, Dianne Howes and her husband David and Helen Beauchesne and her partner Larry Blanchette all of Windham, NH; a brother, Daniel Beauchesne and his wife Patty of New Hampton, NH; four nieces; one nephew; two great nephews; and two great nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Beauchesne; his mother, Helen Krzakowski Beauchesne Tucker and his stepfather, Ward Tucker.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Crosstone Conference Center at the Mollyockett Motel, Route 26 in Woodstock on Friday, December 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Team Momentum Special Olympics, 1059 Meadow Road, Casco, ME 04015.
